Unwrapping: Review of IMMORTAL EVER AFTER by Lynsay Sands
I am always very excited when a new Lynsay Sands romance comes along and my excitement over IMMORTAL EVER AFTER, her newest Argeneau novel, might have been a bit greater than I thought since I knew this was to be Ander's story - at last!

Blurb for IMMORTAL EVER AFTER:
A kiss doesn’t mean eternity . . . Valerie Moyer doesn’t believe in vampires—until she is kidnapped by a fanged psychopath! After escaping her bloodthirsty captor, she’s through with creatures of the night. Until she finds herself under the protection of the darkly handsome Anders. Not only is she expected to accept that Anders is immortal, but also that she is the woman destined to be his life mate!
. . . Or does it?
Anders felt a connection to Valerie from the moment he cradled her bruised body in his arms. But before he claims her, he must destroy the vampire who almost stole her from him forever. His job would be easier if Valerie didn’t fight him every step of the way. Still, Anders loves a challenge, and the green-eyed beauty is worth fighting for!

Valerie Moyer has been kidnapped, drugged, and locked in a cage in a dark, dank room with other women, some of whom she thinks may be dying. Not willing to succumb to the same fate, she stops eating the food given to her and waits until it's her turn to go for her night out. As soon as she sees her chance, Valerie makes her move.
Anders and his team of Enforcers have followed a police call to the scene of unspeakable horrors after a mysterious caller requested silver bullets and stakes to kill her kidnappers. Once they get things under control, Anders goes in search of the caller who must still be hiding out somewhere on the property. When he finds her, he realizes he cannot read her thoughts or control her actions. His employer, Lucian, suspects what that might mean and orders her brought to his home that he shares with his very pregnant wife, Leigh. Anders is not the most talkative man. He's not the most open and revealing sort but after he begins to appreciate Valerie for who she is, he opens up to her in a way he never has before with that hope that she is his life mate. Now to convince her that she is just that and to explain what he is and what her new friends are. All while protecting her from whomever it is out there that still wants her, even as some of the other girls go missing once more.

I cannot wait to get this, I am on hold for it from my local public library, and I am waiting for this, because as soon as I get the book, I will be at home curled up with it first thing. I have read every Argeneau novel, IN ORDER, and I have been waiting to find out about Anders since I first read about him!
